Gratuitous Type is pleased to be included in Mag Is In, an international exhibition of 65 independent magazines selected for their content and design, which will be hosted at the Casa del Pingone at the Porte Palatine in Turin, Italy as part of the annual Turin Contemporary program. The project, which started more than one year ago, will conclude its research with this event, as well as a workshop and conference. The exhibition runs from the November 6-10th.

Had a great time in Vancouver this weekend taking part in the first Vancouver Art/Book Fair, hosted by Project Space. Thanks so much to everyone who came out for the event, said hello, took some time to learn about Gratuitous Type, and shared your own projects!

In October, Gratuitous Type will be visiting Vancouver to join some of our favorite publishers at the first ever Vancouver Art/Book Fair, hosted by Project Space and Fillip. We’ll be selling copies of Issue 1 (sold out online!) and 2, as well as a few projects from our friends here in New York. If you’re in the area, please come by and say hi!
